Building, Mechanical & Industrial Trades
We believe in sowing seeds as early as possible. BMIT Prep is designed to be the first engagement with our youth. This experience is for boys and girls entering grades 5th to 8th grade. Youth will be introduced to careers in the Building, Mechanical and Industrial Trade industry, with the objective to spark an interest in future careers in those fields.

“DIY: Create Your Career” Indoor and Outdoor Trade Expo
Exposure to Diverse Trades: Students get to explore a wide range of skilled trades—such as plumbing, electrical, insulation, construction, and HVAC—that they would not have otherwise encountered in the classroom.
Informed Decision-Making: By learning about different career options firsthand, students can make more informed decisions about whether to pursue a trade after graduation.
Networking Opportunities with Industry Professionals: Students have the chance to interact with professionals, employers, and mentors from various industries. These connections can be valuable for internships, apprenticeships, and future job opportunities.
Hands-On Experience: This expo will offer hands-on demonstrations and workshops giving them a sense of what the work entails.
Early Career Pathways: Our live panel will discuss apprenticeship options and paid on the job training that allow them to earn while they learn, gaining practical experience and skills needed to launch their career.
